Victoria Station Arcade

Edwardian Arcade Restoration Complete

We’re delighted to have reopened Victoria Station Arcade, welcoming customers back to enjoy the beautifully restored Edwardian architecture and a refreshed retail offer.

Originally built in the early 1900s, the arcade has undergone a £1.5m restoration, including heritage moulding repairs, stone and plasterwork, period-style lighting, and shopfronts that replicate the original Edwardian designs.

Key Features:

  • Grade 11 listed shopping arcade
  • Seven unique retail units
  • Restored heritage features
  • Direct access to Victoria underground

Honouring Heritage

Designed by architect duo George and Frank Sherrin, the arcade had suffered from decades of decline. Now Grade II listed, it features revived elements like the 1920s concrete canopy, 1930s London Transport signage, and recreated globe luminaires developed with support from the London Transport Museum and lighting experts Fain Redfern and Decorlight. One storefront also retains its 1930s art deco sunburst glasswork.

New Openings

The first new brands to open in the arcade are After School Cookie Club and Bread & Truffle. After School Cookie Club serves freshly baked, plant-based cookies, cookie dough, and ice cream creations, while Bread & Truffle offers Italian inspired gourmet focaccia sandwiches. More F&B brands are set to open in summer 2025.

Backing Independent Retail

The reopening is part of Places for London’s wider investment – over £300m in the next decade – to upgrade, expand and decarbonise its retail spaces. With 95% of tenants being small to medium businesses, Places for London continues to support a thriving, diverse retail scene across the capital, offering opportunities for SME’s in some of the city’s busiest locations.
