Sector-leading sustainable housing delivery
Our ambitions housing pipeline is driven by a commitment to building quality, green homes within well-connected and inclusive places. We are committed to delivering 50% affordable housing across our portfolio. Our design standards are set by our Sustainable Development Framework (SDF) which brings together a range of metrics across environment, social and economic. By pioneering the SDF with our partners we are bringing significant change, including the adoption of the Passivhaus standard for the delivery of hundreds of homes at High Barnet and Bollo Lane through our West London Partnership with Barratt London. Seven Sisters Market: Protecting heritage and communities
Seven Sisters Market is part of the local heritage and community. The market closed in 2021 and Places for London has been working with the Mayor of London, Haringey Council and the Wards Corner Community Benefit Society to get the traders up and running again. The new temporary indoor and outdoor market is now open, featuring 40 vibrant stalls that restore this important commercial and cultural hub. Lockton Street Arches: Building Places for Growth
Lockton Street’s Places for Growth seeks to do things differently. We are seeking 11 new or growing local businesses that we will help to grow with a specially designed rent model and personalised business support. We are undertaking a full refurbishment of 11 arches at Lockton Street in North Kensington which will include new frontages and improved lighting and safety, ready for the local community and the incoming businesses. Projects
We have a diverse portfolio that spans nearly every London borough. We’re home to businesses in our arches, in TfL stations and on London’s high streets. We have buildings that are used as workspaces and homes. We also have infrastructure and industrial assets, like our car parks and bus garages that we can upgrade or change their use to deliver more of what Londoners want and need.
